  Essentials by Nikki was created in 2018 as an alternative to address my own skin conditions. For as long as I can remember, I've dealt with the challenge of having eczema, a chronic skin type that includes inflammation of the skin, dryness, and at times, itchiness. One thing I learned at a young age is that standard lotions and creams simply do not work for my skin type!

In addition, having multiple family members with diabetes, which creates a separate set of skin challenges, led me to create products with healing properties from the earth as an alternative to soothe our skin. Over the years, I have found that using natural products, along with regular exfoliation and deep moisturization greatly reduces skin inflammation and allows for an even skin tone, with lasting results.
